As an author, you are the expert when it comes to your manuscript or article. Hiring an editor can help polish your writing and bring the best version of it to your readers. With all the different types of editing, it can be difficult to determine what services are the right fit for you. If you’re not sure what services you need, send me an email, and I’d be happy to discuss your writing to see what services would benefit you the most.

I edit book manuscripts, short stories, and academic articles.
I specialize in working with young adult fiction, especially fantasy and science fiction. Additionally, I love working with authors who write characters from underrepresented groups (LGBTQIA+, disabled, neurodivergent, People of Color, etc.).
I also have 8 years of experience with philosophy, and I specialize in ethics, specifically medical ethics.
If you’re not sure whether your work would be a good fit, feel free to send me an email.

Yes! Generally, I offer sample edits of 2,000 words for a full-length manuscript and 500-750 words for short stories or academic articles.

My rates are not posted on my website because they vary greatly from project to project. I would be happy to provide you with an estimate after reviewing part of your manuscript or article and discussing which services you are interested in.
-
This depends on what services you want. Typically, most edits will include one round, and I will go over the manuscript at least twice during that round. If you want both developmental and copyediting, the price would include one round for the developmental edit and one round for the copyedit (with at least two passes for each).
If you’re interested, I am more than happy to do additional rounds of edits.
